And why did you havve your promo phot taken in some dingy alley, when your website says that you live in claremont. Are you trying to imply that you're from the "Hood"

There are so many bands out there to listen to, why should I waste my time on a band that doesn't have anything interesting to say.

You naturally assume that just because i made a negative post that i'm just some forum nazi who thinks, "you've sold out." sounds like you think you're superior to everyone here.

Your original post asked for people to go to your shows, and i replied "why should I." I don't really think you guys are that great. Your image and bio would have us believe that you all are a band with amazing melodies, and thoughtful lyrics, but the melodies are the same as what Falling short are coming up with (there's a hint there), and from what I remember when I saw you live, the lyrics were high school poetry standard, concerned with nothing but yourselves. I'd happily use examples if your website was running.

Whitechapel and Times Up do what you try to do, only much better, and without masturbation. I don't know if they're more punk than you, but they have more of an idea of how to be entertaining. oh, that's right, Tantrum's a rock band now.

The boys from Tantrum are some of the best blokes I know and they're a great band aswell, fair enough your opinions are your opinions and you are free to speak as you wish but Tantrum don't deserve the paying out they have recieved in previous posts they're awesome guys who enjoy playing music simple as that!

I didn't know expressing an opinion was a symptom of depression. Granted it was an opinion expressing my disliking of your band and it's wrong to talk about a band unless you say "wow you guys rock , you whip it", which is probably why you haven't posted Mike Wafer's xpress review of your antiskeptic gig in the reviews section of your website.

Don't act like I'm some bitter, mean spirited killjoy just cos i don't want to suck your dick like most people seem to do. If a hip hop crew posted on this board promoting some of their shows, and everyone one knew that they were a bunch of middle class white boys, with songs about "shooting niggaz with an AK and showing off the bling bling in the ghetto" they would get ripped to shreds. And Rightly so. So when Tantrum, a band that tries to portray themselves as struggling bohemian, tortured artist types, when you're really just self obsessed, comfortable, bandwagon jumpers, I feel obliged to express my opinion.

The lyrics for every song you've posted on your website are written in the first person, and most are about how you've been emotionally hurt by someone you know.

You seemed to be able to judge me to be depressed after two posts. 12 of your songs seem to indicate to me you have a unhealthy obsession with yourself.

But maybe your songs are bullshit. You claim to be having alot more fun than me. Isn't that hard with emotional scars, which you claim to have in the lyrics. Or maybe you've just jumped on the self obsessed "emo" band wagon like so many other bands, especially considering you used to write songs about eating cheese in your bedroom.

just because the tantrum boys are from an economically stable background doesn't mean they cant sing about being hurt by people. in my opinion it doesn't matter how much money you have, anyone can sing about emotional pain because everyone experiences it.

this is beside the point really but tantrum are some of the best guys i have ever met so if you dont like their music, say so by all means, but keep it about the music.

i got FOUR REASONS WHY their demo and i think it is absoluty awesome they sound unique compared to other perth bands
