Let me start this by saying I'm not trying to single anyone out or have a go at anyone, I'm just trying to put a suggestion forward.

We seem to have a fair bit of trouble on this forum with post count whores, post wasters, time wasters, and in general, fucktards. Lots and lots of fucktards. Some of you might even think I fit in to some of those category, in some case you may be right. Deleting these posts and threads that are started are one way of combatting this shit, but I think in a way that might discourage people from posting. They think if their opinion isn't shared by the Admin/Moderators they will just get silenced. So to stop/prevent this kinda thing from happening I suggest we start a shit pit.

This place would just be somewhere threads deemed worthless could be moved to, or people could talk absolute codshite. It goes on enough around here, so why not direct it somewhere. Majority of the posts that some members do make are just a waste of bandwidth, agreed, but sometimes, just sometimes, they might say something of merit, something that someone else was wondering.

Admin, I am assuming you have the power/capabilities to create a new 'section' on the board, is this possible? And do others agree this is a viable idea?

i agree with you on the level of posting. It is getting beyond a joke. But i dont dont think that creating a shit pit would be the way to go about doing it. I say delete messages if thier spam messages, heck even ban people for a week or so if they continue to post rubbish, I feel that creating a shitpit is only giving in to the spammers.

But by trying to get it going again, they are in essence the ones killing it. No one wants to post on a board that's complete and utter bullshit. Hell, isn't the free for all section the shitpit to begin with? I mean, i always thought that was the section for the random posts? I think this board is fine, as long as you don't look in the free for all section, cause there's less bullshit in the sections that actually matter.
