Really it depends what you are looking for and who serves you. Osbourne Park is pretty good, they have a bigger punk section I think, Cannington is supposed to be alright, just watch who you ask, supposedly there's a lot of retards working there. The City store isn't bad if what you are looking for is popular.

the one in osborne park is pretty decent, they're not only limited to pop punk and emo. I found my Nerve Agents cd there for $15. I was very happy. <3

alot of their stuff is the same price as 78s and dadas anyway, they only really lower the price on popular stuff. That's not always the case, JB in Osbourne Park had Kyuss - And the Circus Leaves Town for $7. I've seen a few other top quality CD's are really low prices, the Cannington and Osbourne Park stores seem to be the go generally, worth the trek/going out of your way. Where as the Perth store will have the popular CD of an artist, the suburban stores seem to have a larger catalouge.

The Best JB HIFI i Found Was City....
But That Was Melbourne City. ;D
It Was Fucking Huge And Everything Was Cheep. They Had A Huge Punk Range Of Local And Internationals. Most SHit Was 20 Bucks Max. They Had An Extensive Range Of The Well Known Bands Too, They Also Had A DVD Superstore That Had Some BR Dvd live show called something About A Riot Which Ive Never Seen so im guessing its rather rare. Dropkick Murphys DVD etc Etc for 25 bucks max
sen fucking sational.
not sure on perth but.

The Creative Zen NX is cheaper than the iPod and superior in quality, and looks, chrome wins over white in my book any day.
The whole 99c download iTunes deal for iPods (if/when it comes in) will kill the sales of those little gems.

changing the subject for just a second, you should all try members.iinet.net.au/~rabbit1/ and clicking on the yeah yeah mailorder link . If you don't already now about it (They set up stalls at gigs sometimes) it's based in scarborough and it's not only cheap, it has a good range of local and international bands. I just think it's a much better alternitive to JB. and you can choose your cd/record/tape from your computer chair. Now, back to the iPods.
