... has anyone heard their new song and it has 'Guns Of Brixton' by The Clash as the base of the song? I've heard that Tim Armstrong is in the video clip as well, but i haven't seen it yet. It freaked me out when i realised what song was in the backgound. Yeah.

For some reason i was searching random shit and found that same information. I went to the their site and listened to it. I thoguht they were like hardcore rap. They sound more like a pop rnb group.

That seems pretty odd having rap and punk together

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Anthrax and The Beastie Boys do that?
And I could be wrong again, but the Beastie Boys started off as punk?

Beastie Boys started off as punk and it was sweet. They actually toured a couple of years ago in Australia as the name of their punk band....they played all their old punk music.....its funny cos no one realised it was the beastie boys when it was advertised in the press. People just thought it was some random punk band....so no one bothered to go. Little did they know that it was the Beasties!

i did not know that.
and yeh, that cypress hill song is good. a lot of new cypress hill stuff is really hip hop, and not as much rap based.
on a similar note, travis barker is a bit of a video whore. hes in so much stuff. hes in shutup by black eyed peas. probably because he drummed on the second album, but still. theyre seen as the shittest band, but theyre quite possibly the greatest hip hop group ever. go buy behind the front - best hip hop album by a longshot.
although, the new nerd album has yet to come out...

Anthrax did a song with Public Enemy, but you've probably all heard it because it's on rage all the time. I think it's fucking awesome. I'm listening to it now.
i think the Beastie Boys were called Pollywog Stew when they were a punk band. But that might just be the name of the album
