Yeh i'm mainly just oging to use mine for ska now. Playing it with distortion is a pain in the ass. 3 single coils give so much feedback. The double humbucker with a single coil on my Ibanez limit the feedback and will be my more punky stuff that i dont want feedback from.

1979 Fender Precision Special 1990 ErnieBall Musicman Stingray Ampeg 810e Cabinet Gallien-Krueger 400rb head (soon to be replaced)
and to the dude with the ibanez with the emg-hz pickups, spend some extra cash and get emg-81's or 51's. theyre about a hunded times better. the hz s the equivalent of duncan design pickups. if your a little tighter budget minded, try some seymour duncan invaders. they kick a lot of ass and theyre passive.
dont go for the cheap ones because you always end up wanting to replace them.

eh....i'd recommend u scrap them and get a set of 81's.
but i reckon an invader would go down just as well on an ibanez.

wooppee. its not what theyre worth, assclown.
my speaker cabinet is worth four grand, but it doesnt make me the next jaco pastorius. or matt freeman for all you simpletons who dont know who jaco pastorius is. its how you use your instruments. my guitar player has a mesa boogie dual rectifier and a recto-cab and all this other neat shit, but it would work just the same if he had a 50 watt jcm or something. coz youre only playing little shows. you'd need that sorta stuff if you were...say...maybe strung out. not even.
