Hey guys, Hayley from Two For Flinching here...looks like we're the new kids on the block at the moment (oh dear what a terrible comparison - i promise we are way cooler than the new kids) anyhoo I thought I might just take the opportunity for a bit of a rant about the band cos that's what I do best! I'm not too sure how to describe us, but the influences are Sublime, RX Bandits, Anti-Flag, Crass, Less Than Jake plus some other punk-skacore-reggae-jazz shit. We just call it Upthrust-nardcore. Serious lyrics with fun music, pretty social/political but nothing that would require a box of tissues cos we're not emo (not that there's anything wrong with emo ;D).
Anyway we have THE coolest manager (Emma, bassist from Yuppie Scum), so you're sure to be seeing a lot of us in the future so if you don't like us you can kiss my grandma's big toe (or something equally disturbing, take your pick).
We've done one or two gigs around the place, but our next one's August 12th at the Whitesands with Brainhorn, Amputee Pornstars, 8 Items or Less and Scoundrels which is garaunteed to kick some scarboro arse. So if you've seen us and you like us, tell your friends/family/psychiatrist.. And if you hate us, come along anyway because 8 Items are my new favourite band and it's free + cheap beer. Starts at 8 and we'll most likey be on first so don't think you're being cool by being fashionably late. That's a pretty big call, the New Kids on the Block were pretty cool, I mean, they had Donnie Wahlberg, sure he aint Marky Mark, but he went on to great things.

Fuck yeah we're goin to the State Finals of Campus Bands....but dudes we really need some rentacrowd skanking support, so please, it's on the 18th sept at the monkey bar..some pretty good bands playing too (eg. morning scotch, double entendre, dusk, day of the dead, mannequin, the silents).
If you're not interested in experiencing the lovely atmosphere of the "monkey bar" (imagine my disappointment when i found there AREN'T EVEN ANY MONKEYS! that's right!!), you can punch yourself in the face...
