clean on a 5150? uhhh yeh. You need to change a tube or two to get clean sounds.
your mum is spending 3700 on an amp? fuck hey i spent 1500 on and amp and mum had a go at me.

actually u dont have to at all.
u can get a pretty good clean sound from a standard 5150.
check out i killed the prom queen this weekend this weekend. They both use 5150's and use quite a bit of clean in their music. They do run compressors on their amps but that doesnt really effect the tone of the clean or nothin.
and yeah 3700 from ure mum is a fuck load. I wish i had that much to spend on gear.
