I got a message today from a mate that The Clash were coming, seeing as I can't manage to get a reply outta him I thought I'd utilize you lot, are they? If so, when? Where are they playing? Is a support confirmed? How much?
I'm guessing they would play at the Concert Hall, or Robinson Pavillion, The Maj wouldn't suit the crowd, and Metros would be too small.
Support, as far as local goes I'd be aiming towards Maralinga, I doubt any of you would have heard of these guys, they are a real great out fit though, playing a mix of punk dub and reggae, I'm pretty sure they headlined outernational this year. I know they've played it a couple of times anyway.

Well from what I can find on the net right now, which is very little, they are touring in The US at the moment, playing a show in Baltimore on the 31st of May.
I just hope this guy wasn't pulling my leg, and I hope they do a full Australian tour.
I'm pretty curious as to who would be on vocals.
Support from the Libertines would be great as well, that would've been a possibility seeing as Mick Jones thinks a lot of them and was recording their latest work I believe, won't be happening now though seeing as they are on extended break and Pete's gone to Paris to kick crack.

2004 is look pretty fucking impressive! If this turns out to be a rumour, I'm gunna be mighty distraught.

Stray Cats eh. I've heard good things about them. Yeah i was wondering about who would be on vocals. Man i should save my moneys, even if this IS just a rumour.

The Last rumour I heard of this calibre was Rancid, Stray Cats and GBH. That was when they were touring Japan, a few months ago. Hopefully this time we have a bit more luck.
