Atleast it stands out now.
In regards to the Transplants, I aint heard much myself, but people keep telling me they are pretty decent. All I can suggest is download a few mp3s, if you like that, go out and buy the album (with the money you plan to make on your coke ticket scam/venture).
Thats what I tend to do anyway. Minus the ruse.

Just found this list of bands that are said to be appearing on the compilation: Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Blink, Circle Jerks, Dag Nasty, Descendents, The Donnas, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Good Charlotte, Mike Watt, Mudhoney, NOFX, Pennywise, Propagandhi, Tilt and Tool. Also, the CD is said to be released April 2004. www.citizinemag.com/music/music-0312_punkvoter1.htm That's where I got the info from incase you're wondering, and also from the Rolling Stone. Hope that helped.

you've probably heard Transplants on the Garnier Fructis ad... cause that's from Diamonds and Guns. I've only got that single myself, but if i had some more cash, i'd own the album. Just have a listen on their site

From what I can tell, the majority of the bands have said they will be writing and recording songs, so I assume they will probably keep a theme, possibly something about encourgaing the kids to vote. Some bands are unsure whether or not they are writing new material though, so it could just be another kinda fat music thing.
