Alright folks, this isn't a dig at the majority, simply the minority, a few bad apples spoilt the bunch and all that bollocks. This is the first time I've really had a problem with a bouncer, the other being that I didn't have any ID. That's acceptable though.
Last night I'm trying to enjoy a quiet game of pre-show pool with a mate at the hydey, I'm racking them up, my mate grabs the que and heads off to get more change, some drunkard asks me why I am waiting, I told him for my mate, he said why bother, then he asked who I was playing, I told him my mate, he tried to tell me I wasn't. Mate gets back with more change, I break, the guy proceeds to inform me that he's playing, My mate goes to take a shot, the drunkard starts putting the balls down the pockets, says we ain't playing on his table of something to that extent. Then he starts to walk off, so my mate gives me the que, at this stage the druinkard turns around, no hesitation, runs towards me pushed me full force into the wall, I collapse like a sack of bricks, my mate nicks off to get the bouncer. When we finally track him down, he says something to the extent of, it was that guys table, I was at fault for playing on it, and he was within his rights to do what he did, that's right kids, he had the rights to assult me. I'm lost, now I'm not some big city lawyer but that don't make much sense to me.
The same bouncer tried that night to eject two people for dancing up the front, to which the soundis complained, the band complained and the hole crowd complained and basically told this silly bastard to fuck off. And then he tried to provoke the crowd, theres some real smart ones out there.
Like I said I don't have a problem with all bouncers, just a few, most of em are alright, but people like this shouldn't be allowed to work in pubs.
Ah yeah, the whole point of that rant was to see if any one has had similar experiences, or wants to give any advice.
