I like festivals.
More people to meet, better environment, more fun and the increased opportunity for crowd surfing.
On the downside, sun burn and randoms groping you.

I'm making reference to the only rockit i have been to, where brand new played.. that was a fucken awesome day. Soundwave was ok, but not great.

i thought i was going to die at soundwave... purely from being annoyed. Haha No Shit Hey , I Felt The Same Way. Took Me Ages To Get Up The Front To Have Only The 14 Year Old Fashoncore Crew Spray Me For Moshing While They Where Trying To Take Photos On There Fones They Soon Moved When The Slamm Pit Got Cranking ;D btw Rise Against Are Supporting All SOAD Sideshows. Which To My Knowledge We Dont Get. |

mmm either way atleast we are getting bands over here now, and all these 14 year old hoe bags that go help sell out the shows and the bands leave with a way better experience/story to go on about when they get home so more bands are gonna wanna play the shows here.. who cares if they are 14 year old hoes they are still supporting the show even if they are there just go check out hot skater bois are whatever they are called.

yeah, you have a point wang. There would've been a wholllle lot less people at soundwave methinks if it hadn't been for the kiddos.
The BDO is a giant event... where people go purely to a) get drunk (not for the bands) and b) to be seen and c) to meet boys/ girls.
If only everything was purely about the music...

i just can't handle big crowds, i'm probably not extroverted enough... i have difficulties coping with like 20. haha. I've only been to the Big Day Out once, and that's when Garbage and NoFX were playing. I hate the sun too, because i hate getting sunburnt. I hate a lot of things.  |
