Alright, pretty simple, where is your favourite local music venue? This is more for watching than playing. Any of you who are in a band though, feel free to comment on where you prefer playing. For most of you I relaise you're under 18 so it'll be either HQ or the Amplifier, but doesn't hurt to ask eh. Here's you chance to be a cunt to me for missing out venues, I know you all want to, so go for it.

I voted for the Hyde Park. Cos it's free to get in.

I think the size of it adds to the atmosphere, a little bit like the hydey.

I like either HQ or Hydey, small, scummy and smell.

HQ... because as i (currently) only attend all ages shows, it beats amplifier. HQ is just nice and cosy, plus you're not trapped in after entry like at amplifier.

HQ... because as i (currently) only attend all ages shows, it beats amplifier. HQ is just nice and cosy, plus you're not trapped in after entry like at amplifier. Since it's been remodeled theres a bit more space for relaxing/sitting about in the courtyard/beer 'garden'. I love the fact that you have to be 18 to get a stamp/pass out at an all ages gig, I love the idiocy of that place in general. Like staying open until 6 am on Monday but only serving beer until 2.

Who Here Remembers The Back Room @ The Grovsner? I Thought That It Was A Pretty Kicking Venue. Its Perfect For What You Need In An ALL Ages Gig Dont Know Whats Happend There.
Metros Used To Be My Favourite. Globe Holds Up Okay And Is The Best we Got. Amplifer Is Way To Small , Even For Local Perth Bands Now. The Restrictive Viewing Around The Stage Thanks To A Poorly Placed Pillar Is Also A Piss Off. Hydey Is Good For A Pub And So Is The Lookout But Its A Bit Small (Stage That Is) But Best Location In Scarbs.
We Need A Specific Rock Venue In Town So We Can Get Some Solid Bands To Come. Not A Fan Of HQ. Its A little Rough Its Just Like A Backyard Shed And The Sound etc Aint Great.
Speaking Of That The Offspring Are Playing The Showgrounds , Wonder How That Will Go Out There.
Should Be Fucking Good But. Cant Wait To Hear Some Classic Songs Of The Early 90s Punk Boom.

Yeh unfortunatly i only went to the grovsner once, it was pretty decent little place. They stopped having live music there because of the yuppie neighbour complaining about noise restrictions.

What A Piss Off. It Was A Great Spot. Defentaly Could Have Been Turned Into A Dedicated Punk/Hardcore Venue.
Good Size , Good Facilities And Could Act As A Hangout Midweek etc Like A Normal Bar.
