When the gig has already happened maybe the thread should get deleted.... I hate seeing a whole heap of them that have already happened.Its so hard to figure out what youve already read etc. Just an idea.

I tend to disagree, cause you can continue on in the thread about the gig, kinda like a gig review or whatever you want to call it, saves another thread getting started, but I see your point.
Usually it will say [glow=blue,2,300]NEW[/glow] on anything you haven't read? Does for me anyway.

i agree brendan. It's nice posting about how the gig was, and about a week or two after the show, people will tend to stop posting. And i get that NEW thing too. But then again if you don't frequent this board, you'll have a lot of them.

I don't think there is a need for a date on the title, I think you are all just a little too lazy. As long as it isn't something that was posted three months ago, generally it won't get replied to. If it is replied to usually someone has a question, won't get answered unless people like yourselves look at it.
Having said that, if enough people feel that way, it's not that much of a hassle, and I'll start doing it.
See I'm not such a prick, I do nice things now and then.

now that im a special modertator ill make all the gigs that havent been played yet be pinned so they stay up the top then make them normal again when they are over.. ok good.
