i saw today on atticus gig guide and then on the coke site that they are putting on a gig.. the idea is that u have to get 20 labels take them to trax and they give u a ticket.. the bands are 28 days, Jebediah, Magic Dirt, Machine Gun Fellatio, Betchadupa.. and 4 un-announced local bands.. its held at the burswood dome i think on March 24th, just thought id post it incase ppl where interested and hadnt heard. more info at www.coke.com.au |

haha the giant corporation finds a way of grabbing even more money. 20 labels for a ticket worth less than that value. If coke didn't taste so good, i would object to drinking the stuff.

thats only like 40 bucks.. but yeh i drink shit loads of coke anyway so its not like i really need extra to save up enough labels in time.. i remember when they had that olympics thing i saved up enough labels for like 4 tickets.. that was a shit load of labels

yeh i wouldnt go out of my way to get the tickets but i mean if i do i do. Doesnt look that great, ive already seen 28 days a couple of times. Once about 4 years ago when kool just came out and they were fucking sick. They went to shit after that cd.

any kid who thinks hes a 'punk' shouldnt go to this show. All the shit punk stands for goes against the whole morals of this.
collect 20 labels to support globalization and we'll let u see some shitty bands that ud pay less to see with real dollars. I'm not saying im a punk, i dont believe in what punk stands for. but there are a whole heap of kids on here that do think it. Very deluded id say.
How do the local bands get on the bill?? Is it the band with the most labels as well??
Quite frankly im fuckin appauled at the whole fuckin idea of it.
getting a ticket to this show is a ticket to globalization.

how is this concert supporting globilisation?
to my knowledge globilisation is the breaking down of trade barriers among countries of the world which gives us one global economy ( and although many ppl are exploited from globilisation every 1 of us here benifits from it).
i would probably call this a marketing strategy that is pretty fkn sneaky but i dont care cos i will be going to it but not by buying coke( the stingey cunt that i am ill jsut ripthe lables off bottles that ppl litter!) ;D

me 2, u can find literally hundreds at the footy but since footy's not in season i'm sure u could pick up some up at the cricket. I wouldn't bother wasting my time finding 20 bottles as i do not like any of those bands.

Therefore a ticket to cokeday is a ticket to globalisation. |
