carlson, i hate to say this buddy, but your argument is slightly flawed.
i mean, just because karnivool get good supports doesnt mean they piss all over everything else. i mean, in this case, they pretty much do, but you couldnt really base your judgements on that.
take the critics for example. i honestly reckon theyre a complete pile of horseshit band, but back when they were hanging around here, they got all the good supports, leaving awesome bands like falling short and beginners luck with NOTHING.
all things considered, karnivool do piss over pretty much everything. subtruck included.
now come on people...we need to start an argument involving slingshot. or the j babies. or felix. no wait...leave felix out of this...i want the bass player to have my babies.

haha yeah slingshot lick balls. i know the guitarist travis and he left half way thru year 12 so he could be in a full time cover band  then he fed me some shit about touring the country with avril lavine and john farnham and getting paid 10 grand each for it. haha airbag or woteva fkn band plays at the lookout on a friday night are gay aswell at least felix have a hot bass player and rob on keyboards is not a bad bloke either |

Any person who decided they want to comment on hardcore bands in perth that doesnt even come along to shows can fuck off.
Its From THE ruins, and they made that name when you were still fucking wearing nappies so you have no right to comment on how they want to spell theyre name.
Fool the World are an amazing band who are more talented than any punk hardcore, or metal band in australia without doubt... you cant comment if youve heard one song off a compilation without witnessing a live show of their's.
There are a lot of good hardcore bands in perth, if you want to be a part of it get off your fucking keyboard and come to some shows, as for punk theres a few good ones and some copycats.
best hardcore band: FOOL THE WORLD
best poppunk band: LAST YEARS HERO
Best punkrock band: PC THUG
best metal band: PATHOGEN
best grind band: AIDS (rip)

last time we played with them, thats what they were called. or it mighta been a typo on the posters. sucks to be them.
and i thought pc thug were hardcore? tell maynard he needs a new amp. and that i still have his picture of a ninja turtle he drew when we were in year 2. it says "this is a nina turtle"

I say best punkrock act is clearly Project Mayhem. PC Thug are good, yes, but i think they're more hardcore, which seems evident as they play at HC shows.
