the so called 'punk look' on girls hot? with the high socks, and all that shit. trendy checkered shoes... that sort of thing? i dont, for god sakes... why do you all wanna look like blokes?

There is one punk chick i know that i think makes punk look good, she doesnt wear that trendy shit tho and she was dressing like this before it was 'cool'.
On most chicks i think the recently developed trendy punk look is for the most part pretty rank. Especially those chicks who go to gigs and shows (dressed in there long skirts & checkered shoes, socks pulled up, black hair, plugged ears, atticus shirts etc) and look people like me up and down. As if they have more right to be there because they are apparently more 'punk'.
However i find some 'trendy' punk clothes hot on guys. I think a guy can look tremendous in a black band shirt with white collared shirt underneath or trucker hat. But too much of this kinda thing can look rank too, this is definately a teenage phase.
One day they will have to realise how stupid alot of this trendy punk stuff looks, I just wonder what age they think they will grow out of wearing these clothes.

Depends how they do it. The whole overdone trendy chick looks shit, as does the im gonna be a rebel to get attention look. But if done right it can be a fucking killer

im just thinking, ok, when i am 18 and go out to a night-club, are all the girls dressing "punk" now gonna be like that then? i honestly dont see that happening. Thats why i am not fussed by it. but i hate how they give u that look like punkrockandbeer said, how they think they have more right to be at a show cos they look the so called part. I think we should all bring some US back into the scene, the scene should be about YOU YOURSELF, not what is supposed to look cool.

i just get fed up when everyone looks the same. But i try so hard not to judge other people before i get to know them, because i know people are judging me without talking to me. Mmhmm. But yes. Anyone can pull anything off i think. Just as long as they are doing it for the right reasons.
